Mentorship in Life

Challenge Your Mindset. Shift Perspective. Find Your Breakthrough.

Life is for the living – it is meant to be lived, not worked. And yet, every day the vast majority of you find yourselves being dragged out of bed by an uninspiring alarm clock to go work a job for less money than you are worth to receive a small paycheck that gets depleted like it’s sitting on quick sand, only to do it all over again, day after day after day.

But isn’t this what we were taught? Go to school, get good grades, go to college, get a good job, provide for your family, etc. But someone forgot to mention the debt and stress that frames your life along the way.

When you’re 14 years old, just starting high school, excited to take on the world, you can’t even comprehend that your “prestigious” undergraduate degree is going to cost you close to 6 figures. And let’s not even talk about the investment you’ll make if you go out of state or to a private school and of course, your post-graduate education! … which basically seems like a requirement at this point.

Although it sounds like we’re bashing education, I promise you, we’re not. In fact, most of us have bachelor’s degrees, but the difference is what we have learned since receiving those degrees, knowledge that wasn’t obtained at school.

The challenge that young adults face today as they graduate high school is the pressure they feel to immediately go to college, many of whom choose a 4 year university, with no idea of what they actually want to do with their lives. (Because let’s be real, who actually knows what they want to do at 18 with virtually no real-world experience?!)

Money is wasted, time is wasted, energy is wasted, all in the name of “experiencing college.” And while we all agree, college is a good time; there are MANY smart ways to go about funding your education without landing yourself in six-figures of debt.

Although our community doesn’t primarily serve students, we find that many of you feel stuck in your Groundhog Day lives, due in large part, to student loans and other debts you’ve taken on, believing that your investments would help you get ahead and live more fulfilling lives.

But those debts have trapped us. Ring a bell, get a treat, ring a bell, get a treat, ring a bell, get a treat … over and over and over again, until someday, we’ve saved enough to retire, just in time to sit on our front porch drinking tea, because that’s all we’ll have the energy to do.

What if you had an opportunity to get access to successful individuals who broke free from that exhausting cycle? People who found a way to get the treats to flow abundantly without having to ring the bell until their fingers bleed?

Well, you are in the right place.

Because we have spent time investing in our own self-development, we freely dedicate ourselves to mentoring individuals, couples and families in life. When we provide coaching, we always try to convey that you, too, can learn to build a system to create the life you desire.

What we do isn’t about teaching you to make more money; it’s about teaching you to make better life decisions, ones that won’t accidentally undermine your long-term goals and dreams for a better future.

You are limited in life by your perception. The truth is, perception determines perspective, and more often than not, before you find your breakthrough, you need to see your breakdown. You need another set of eyes to guide you through life’s biggest decisions.

Right now, you probably have tons of well-meaning people in your life, but most of these people can’t help you get to where you want to be, because they themselves are not there either.

So what is your biggest roadblock to success? Do you know what is holding you back or could you use a sounding board in the form of a mentor to help you discover and dig into some truths in your life?

Often our roadblocks aren’t what we don’t know, but rather what we think we know that isn’t so.
